Created by the Castle Rock Chamber, "Leadership Douglas County" is a 10-month training course designed to educate our future leaders. There is a two year commitment to the Leadership Douglas County program.
Beginning in September and running through June, approximately twenty individuals will be selected to participate in this intensive training program. This program provides our up-and-coming leaders great insight into a number of issues facing our growing communities. Applications are accepted from from April through mid June.
Participants will be asked to dedicate one day per month to the program and to participate in an overnight retreat. Educational topics will include: transportation, healthcare, water, technology, etc. The government of Douglas County, the Towns and Chambers of Commerce throughout our county, and a number of area businesses and organizations sponsor this program.
